History
Starting from 1990, Wang Kai Ge and Zhan Ximei form the band The News group, mainly influenced by American Grunge, that came over to China around that time.
Whereas they changed their name in 1992 and started to get influenced by Napalm Death and Brutal Truth, they officially became Vomit in 1993.
Several years Vomit played their songs, improved them and created new one's, until they recorded their demo tape in 1998, that never was released officially.
After being interviewed by the Painkiller Heavy Music Magazine in 2001, more people started to get in contact with Vomit regarding official records.
Finally Mort Production made the run and introduced Vomit with their Resurrection to the Gods compilation CD in 2001.
Tianjin's Vomit is a still living old school death metal dinosaur, which has kept their local underground leading status for nearly a decade. They still hit the stage as often as possible and attract more and more fans, even though their music is characterized by complex rhythms, abrupt changes in the melody and abstract forms of vocals.
