History

Tuan Jie Hu Groove is a funky fusion of Jazz, Rock, Electronic, Pop, Funk, World Music, Classic and.....just generally good music! As one of the truly first funk bands in China Tuan Jie Hu band is a multinational effort, comprised of players from Sweden, Japan and the Philippines and of course China. Long Long, the leader of the band, has long been considered one of the best guitar players and composer in China, though now he spends the majority of the time on keyboard and as the bands composer. Qing Sifeng and Huang Yi take piano and producing duties while drummer Huang Jing holds the rhythm section down. Yi Yang, the Japanese member of the group is a graduate of the National Music School.

The Band consists of Guitarist: Long Long, Keyboard players: Sedar Chin and Freefarmer, Bass player: Tobias Demker--Percussionist: Arai Soichiro, and drummer: Dominic Bautista. By mixing different kind of sounds with good performing skills, the band represents the highest level for this kind of music in China.
