The Banned (严禁使用严禁, Yanjin Shiyong Yanjin), Tianjin-based punk rock quintet.

History

One of Tianjin's most popular and well known punk rock bands, The Banned brings together several former members of No Problem as well as a few new members, and play a sound akin to Rancid, Brain Failure, etc. One of their best-known songs is a cover of The Pogues' "Dirty Old Town". They have been playing shows in Tianjin almost constantly for the past several years, beginning in 2007/2008. While playing CarSickCars, Wu & The Side Effects, and others.
