History

Never Happened or XitneverhappenedX (X从未发生X) is a hardcore indie metal band from Beijing. With the right hardcore spirit and proper "fuck you" attitude, they are still unsigned but not unloved. One performance by these guys and you'll understand.

Formed in 2006 by the early line ups including REN, Qin Yong 秦勇, Liang Bing 梁冰, Li Bo 李博 to play Hard Core Punk. Due to many line up changes they had to put all band activities onto hold until 2009 where Hu Weinan 胡伟男 former guitar player of No Doubts “无争”乐队 and also the two guys Wang Di and Xue Qiang of Hutong Fists “胡同拳头”乐队 joint the band in 2009. By then the band started to do live shows again and their style turned more towards New School Hard Core/Beatdown Hard Core. In 2010 Guitarist Mark came from Rubber Bumb 橡皮炸弹”乐队 to complete the current line up.

The self produced debut EP "This is my fxxcking answer" will be published at the End of March 2011

On June 5th, 2011, they performed at the Mao Livehouse. According to Beijing Daze: XitneverhappenedX was up next. They had a lot of energy onstage but failed to capture my attention! Some audience members were into to them but i felt it was very much uninspired and lacking. Just a lot of barking and pounding with no substance!^[1]
