History

A brutal northern black metal band from China, influenced by foreign bands such as Gorgoroth, Emperor and Ulver. Evil, brutal, primitive, blasting and aesthetic. They Refuse those "black metal fans" who only like Cradle of Filth and Dimmu Borgir.

MartyrdoM was formed in December 2001 and released their first record Pagan's Hymn in July 2002.

In August 2003, their second record MartyrdoM II is released and in October the same year one of their songs is included in the Pocket Music magazine issue 01.

In 2005, Zu also joins the Project Anti XXX.

For the first time in their band history MartyrdoM performs live in the Wuhan VOX Bar on April 22nd 2006. At least that is the only time known that the band played live in front of an audience.
