History

Lure's vocal on their first record

Formed in January 1997, by 雷霖（Vo&G）, 王路（B） and 于巍（Dr）. Then 王路 was in charge of the rhythm guitar and 雷霖 took over the bass. In February they had a live performance outside the 北京青年宮外星人迪庁. In July 天里 joined as guitarist.

In May 1998, 天里 leaves the band again. In December their record 214 Days and 3 vomit youth is released with 500 copies in total, first in Beijing's 方舟書店等 available on sale from January the next year and later in other shops. Due to its violent lyrics it gained instant fame among the local punk community. In 1998, 劉睿 also joined the band Meng Yan.

In March 1999 they recorded the song 见红 for the compilation Modern Sky 3 (VA) which is released in June the same year. As the lyrics were too violent, they were not included in the booklet of the CD. In October they performed in Shenyang's 光大銀行瀋陽戸外揺滾節 event.

In 2000, their record 214 Days and 3 vomit youth is released in Malaysia. In April the same year they sign a contract with Badhead Music, a subsidiary of Modern Sky Records. In July they performed in Shanghai's U-Like bar together with Hang on the Box.

March 20th, 2001, 王路 went to Italy and Lure was on hiatus for some time. Then 李宏 (Masturbation) joins as guitarist and in July 梁偉 joins on the bass, so the band restarts their activities. August 11th, they performed in Anshan during the 鞍山第二届RAVE PARTY. From September onwards, 李宏 and 張帆 are the guitarists. In December their best of record 性感的叛国青年 is released.

In the first half of 2002, the band decided to break up, before finishing their nation-wide tour. March 30th, they rocked the 莱茵河声場. In April their record 我想你会在我的怀抱里说声你爱我 is released by Badhead Records. On May 18th, they performed at Nanjing's 紅色気球音楽坊. May 19th, they rocked Shanghai's The Ark Livehouse. Then, in the same month, the band broke up.

December 2003, their recorded VCD 结束等于开始 is released.

On August 28th, 2010, they performed at the Hot Cat Club, Beijing, during the Hang on the Box relaunching/reforming event. According to Beijing Daze: (...) they’ve been around for a while but don’t play much. The lead singer sported a great mohawk but the music flew right over my head… Their douban page describes their style as Funk Grunge… whatever! didn’t seem to inspired to me.^[1]
