The French Horn Rebellion

The French Horn Rebellion (FHR) is what the New York Times calls “the next big thing”, and there’s no question why after seeing their sweaty, slightly dizzying live show filled with some galactic sized tunes from brothers Robert and David Perlick-Molinari. They’ve tapped the attention of seemingly every major music press (NME, Pitchfork, etc) as the band to watch. As for street cred, Dave is the producer for MGMT’s “Time to Pretend EP” and Rob has a French Horn degree from Northwestern University bringing that shiny twisted instrument of delights out on audiences during their danceathon set. After sharing the stage with Hot Chip, Sleigh Bells, and Cut Copy just to name a few, they are back on the road supporting MGMT on their Asia tour for some arena sized gigs. Fake Love Music in cooperation with STD is bringing them to YGYS, as we take over April for two parties to celebrate the first Fake Music Media Compilation Release. This compilation will feature the likes of Who Made Who, French Horn Rebellion, Golden Bug, Jeans Team, Pitchtuner, Rodion, Puppetmastaz & Munk etc.
