Short introduction

Chaos Mind was formed in December 2006. The band became mature and got their own style after more than one year's anneal. They became the indispensable force among Shanghai's new bands and also got the recognition of the fans. Chaos Mind always emphasizes on developing the underground music and in the past years they attended dozens of live shows, playing with not only domestic but also bands from overseas on stage. During July 2007, they played on the Shanghai Dino Beach Rock Festival and as a representative of Shanghai rock bands they attended the Sino-Japanese friendship rock live Monsters Rock Asia which was held at Zhi Jiang Dream Factory in Shanghai. And at the end of 2007, they played two big performances Fist! Dash Out of the Underground held by Rock0093 and Mark Fairwhale Christmas party. The band released the DIY single Scream in March 2008 and afterwards opened for American alternative hardcore band Horse the Band in the same month.

On March 18th, 2007, they rocked the Yuyintang. On April 7th, they performed at the Yuyintang as support act to Last Chance of Youth. April 30th, they performed at the Yuyintang as support act to American metal act 8mm Overdose. May 19th, they performed at the Live Bar. May 27th, they rocked the Zhijiang Dream Factory as support act to British band Mishkin. June 19th, they performed at the 創智天地広場 during the 原創音楽匯-創意市集 event. June 15th, they performed at the Live Bar as support act to Beijing band S.A.W.. June 23rd, they rocked the Live bar. June 24th, they performed at Club Bonbon. June 29th, they performed at the 熱帯風暴水上楽園 during the Rock it 熱帯風暴揺滾音楽節 event. July 13th, they performed at the Live bar. July 14th, they rocked the Live bar as support act to Beijing band Ego Fall. August 24th, they performed at the 熱帯風暴水上楽園 during the 新音楽連盟音楽節 event. September 23rd, they rocked the Yuyintang as support act to Crystal Butterfly. October 13th, tey performed at the Zhijiang Dream Factory during the MONSTERS ROCK ASIA event. November 16th, they performed at the Yuyintang. December 15th, they rocked the 4 Live. December 22nd, they rocked the Contemporary Arts Center during the 馬克華菲 聖誕狂歓音楽節 event.

2008

January 12th, 2008, they rocked the Yuyintang. On January 26th, they rocked the 上海長寧区法華鎮路第三小学 during the 熱烈慶祝上海現代児童想象芸術教育創弁20周年活動之一 老鼠揺滾音楽2008児童専場 event. March 8th, they rocked the Yuyintang. March 24th, they performed at the Yuyintang as support act to American band Horse the Band. At that time they started to sell their single Scream. 許維達 leaves the band at that time. In April 陳一鋒 (佳佳) (ex-Split Personality) joins on the guitars. In May first a drummer joins and then 曹寅 joins as bassist. Eventually 許維達 re-joins as drummer and the lineup consists of: 高瀚航（Vo）, 朱琪康（G）, 陳一鋒（G）, 王念軒（B） and 許維達（Dada Wolf）（Dr）. Performed in the Yuyintang on August 1st 2008 during the Zao Ci event.[1] On August 9th, they performed at the Zhijiang Dream Factory. On August 23rd, they rocked the ZhiJiang Dream Factory during the 夏日狂歓音楽節 event. On September 6th, they performed in the Live bar. On September 13th, they rocked the Yuyintang. After that show 王念軒 leaves the band and 曹大 re-joins on the bass. On October 15th, they performed at the Yuyintang. On December 14th, they rocked the Yuyintang as support act to American Hardcore band Corrupt Absolute. On December 20th, they performed at the Fashion hub 1150 Live house for the 2008歌声[口尞]亮音楽季 event. December 31st, 2008, they rocked the Yuyintang.[2]

2009

In 2009, 王侃 joins on the drums. On March 6th, they performed in the Yuyintang during October Capricorn's first EP release party. On March 20th, they performed at the Yuyintang as support act to AK-47. On March 21st, they performed at the Live Bar. On April 3rd, they rocked the Yuyintang. On April 25th, they performed at Hangzhou's 旅行者 bar. On May 16th, they performed at Yuyintan as support act to Voodoo Kungfu. At the same day 朱琪康 and 王侃 leave the band. Later 梁家燁 (of 驚叫基督) (G) and 憲章 (Dr) join the band. On June 17th, they performed at the ZhiJiang Dream Factory as support act to SuidAkrA. On June 18th, they performed at the Yuyintang. On July 10th, they rocked the Yuyintang during the SHANGHAI NIGHT FEVER×上海狂熱夜 - 1st stage 初夜体験 event. n July 28th, they performed at Suzhou's ROCKSUZHOU小 bar. August 15th, they performed at the Yuyintang. September 12th, they rocked the Yuyintang. On September 25th, they performed in the Yuyintang as support act to Terror. On September 26th, they performed in the 新江湾城SMP滑板公園 during the 2009激浪第二届極限音楽狂歓節 event. In December their song Scream is included in the compilation record 仮如没有花蕾和詩篇. On November 14th, they performed at the Mao Livehouse Shanghai. On December 29th, they rocked the Yuyintang as support act to Hongkong's King Ly Chee.

2010

January 29th, 2010, they performed at the Playful Warrior concert night in the Yuyintang.[3] On March 13th, they performed during the Hell United First Anniversary concert at the Mao Livehouse in Shanghai. According to Jake Newby: Chaos Mind took the next slot and, though as I said before the late night drift away wasn't as big as it usually is, they probably played to the biggest crowd. Good for them - they deserve it. Certainly Sam, the frontman does, this was his brainchild after all and, now that they're looking for a new guitarist, he's been pretty much the one constant in the band in the last couple of years. They were on top form with Sam striding around the stage with authority as he always does and delivering the classics in style.[4] On March 27th, they performed at the Date with the devil metal night at Harley's Bar, Shanghai. According to Andy Best: The highlight of the set was definitely frontman Sam Dust's performance. He rules.[5]
