History

After a lot of lineup changes, BREAK TRAGEDY came into being in 5th, 2003. The band members are Xia Jie (V), Zhou Gefei(G), Ren Duo(G), Ni Jia(B), Guo Zhigang(D) and Yu Xiao(K).

BREAK TRAGEDY is influenced by many North European metal bands, such as Children of Bodom, Nightwish and Dark Moor. They learn from them and compose their music based on daily feelings. BREAK TRAGEDY is a melodic progressive metal band and they mix a lot of classical elements into their music, which attracts a lot of listeners. Guitars play very important roles in their music and their vocal is highly powerful and throaty. Until now, BREAK TRAGEDY has have several demo songs, such as "SILENT MELODY" and "NIRVANA".

After elaborate preparations, BREAK TRAGEDY has involved in many gigs in some famous bars in Beijing. They are a good live-performanced band and their wonderful music has won more and more fans. BREAK TRAGEDY has become more mature and one of their singles will be included in the V.A.album "RESURRECTION OF THE GOD III" soon.
