History

One of the Syndicate's star DJs, Blackie has been spinning drum n bass anthems in the capital for four years now. A regular performer at Yen raves, he took home top honors in the the Reader's Choice Awards in 2009 by City Weekend Beijing.

In the past 8 years, DJ Blackie participated on countless promotional events and live shows. Back in the UK he started out from underground dance parties, later he took part of the weekly Fuse FM radio broadcast. In 2005 he came to China and soon joint the Beijing drum and bass force The Syndicate. Within the last 3 year he has been the star DJ of the Yan parties (bei o2culture 凹凸). His qualities as an artist caught the attention of some british labels such as Hospital or Metalheaz who invited him to their events. No matter if open air festivals, large scale dance houses or privat parties, DJ Blackie always know how to unleash the souls of party animals.
