Band Forming Timeline

A master list of all bands sorted by their forming date.

Criteria for listing the bands

1. The band has officially formed during that year
2. The band has officially renamed itself during that year
3. When it is not known, when the bands has formed / renamed either the date of their first public (or private) gig as their formation or the date of their first record / demo release / inclusion in a compilation record is taken. These bands are marked with a -?-.
4. If bands changed their names they are usually not shown here, despite the time period between forming and renaming is longer than one year or characterized by an important event (a really important event).
5. The band has at least performed once with their name or have released one song e.g. in a compilation record or at MySpace
