21floor (二十一樓, èrshí yī lóu), Guangzhou based experimental project

History

21floor is an open project launched at the end of 2005 by a group of young artists in Guangzhou, China. The core members of the group are composed of CHEN Gang (graphic designer), Justin ZHONG Minjie (sound artist), Lin Zhiying (sound artist), Zhang Anding (aka Zafka, sound artist) & Thom CHIN (video artist & curator). 21floor is keen on the exploration of alternative spaces (KTV, Internet Cafe, Office, etc.) as performing/exhibition venue, as well as the possibility of cross-disciplinary collaboration.
